Yesterday marked a landmark moment for Amy Childs as she opened her own beauty salon in her native Essex.

And the reality star found support in the form of her family and friends at a party to celebrate her achievement.

One significant supporter was her ex-boyfriend Kirk Norcross, who made sure he was on hand at the event in Brentwood.

Kirk, 23, wore a plain grey varsity jacket over a white T-shirt with burgundy trousers and white trainers, topped off with a blue baseball cap.

Also at the event was former glamour model Nicola McLean and her footballer husband Tom Williams.

The couple left the salon with bags full of beauty treatments, possibly gifts for relatives or friends.

Kirk recently revealed that he would love to get back with ex-girlfriend Amy saying: ‘I’d get back together as quick as that, if I could. I’d settle down with Amy no problem. Kids, marriage the lot. I’d be the happiest person ever.’

But Amy insisted: ‘We’re better as friends.’

And yesterday was her day. It all kicked off at the salon where Amy was joined by her staff – Hannah Lapslie, Kayleigh Whiting, RebeccaCook and Samantha Crispe who looked like perfectly groomed air hostesses intheir attire.

The five girls wore brightpurple fitted dresses with black opaque tights and matching stilettos, but Amy made sure she stood out from the crowd.

TheOnly Way is Essex star completed her look with a thin silver waist beltand wore patterned tights rather than plain ones and she wore her red hair in curls.

Judging by the photos, it’s clear to see that Amy has put a lot of thought into the decor and treatments at her new salon.

The walls are painted a mixture of white, lilac and pink – perfect for any girly women who love to be pampered.

On the price list are all the usual beauty treatments such as manicures, facials and of course Amy’s speciality – the Vajazzle.

Showing the beautician’s humorous side, she’s added a personal touch to the different shades available to spray tan customers.

The options are: What’s The Point Tan, you Ain’t Got The Essex Tan, Amy Childs’ Essex Tan and Oompa Loompa – named after the famous orange midgets from 1971 movie Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

Take a seat: The salon also offers a variety of treatments including facials, Botox and chemical peels

Amy was keen to promote her own range of spray tans and posed by one of the booths with a glass of champagne.

However,it’s difficult to imagine how members of staff are going to get stuck in with spraying customers from head to toe whilst wearing such a fitteduniform and high heels.

Someone who looked extremely proud tobe supporting Amy on her big day was her manager Claire Powell, who also dressed up for the occasion wearing a short black dress and pink heels.

Amy’s latest businessmove and her career since she left TOWIE will be documented in her new television show, All about Amy, which is scheduled to be aired on Channel 5 on December 1.
