There’s the DVD boxset, the accompanying book and even an iPhone app.

But now the makers of the Only Way is Essex have cashed in with perhaps the tackiest product collaboration – an official TOWIE vajazzle kit.

However, one of the show’s stars Mark Wright seemed more than happy to promote the product as he posed with a group of stunning models at the launch in London today.

Grinning as he pointed to the diamante embellishment on model Elizabeth Eastman’s stomach, Mark lived up to his player reputation at the event, held at Signor Sassi Italian restaurant in Knightsbridge.

But there was no sign of Mark’s fiancée Lauren Goodger, who was one of the first to champion the vajazzle in an early episode of the hit ITV2 programme.

In fact, the combination of her fiancé spending time with a group of beautiful women is unlikely to be an appealing prospect for Lauren, who was seen in the most recent episode of the show putting her foot down over Mark’s plans to launch a glamour modelling agency.

But Mark looked unconcerned about facing Lauren’s wrath as he posed with the models, showing some more unusual locations to place a vajazzle – including one of the model’s legs.

The popularity of the vajazzle, where diamantes are placed delicately on a woman’s nether regions, has increased massively since beautician Amy Childs featured it on TOWIE.

In fact, in a recent poll undertaken by the programme, 54 per cent of people questioned admitted they would like to experience a vajazzle.

Bad example: Brentwood girl Jodie is unimpressed with the ITV2 show

Talking about the beauty treatment recently, Amy said: ‘At the end of the day, you can’t beat the vajazzling – said they’d sold out all over the country after the show.

‘Big hit, big hit, I think I’ll always be known as the Vajazzle Queen.

‘But there could be something else that people would like.’

Meanwhile, Essex glamour model Jodie Marsh has hit out at the reality show for giving the county a bad name, saying the stars of the show are the ‘worst possible examples of people in Essex’.

Jodie, who got married at Kirk Norcross’s Brentwood nightclub the Sugar Hut, said: ‘I and all my friends are highly ashamed of it and fairly embarrassed to say we are from Essex now, thanks to the show.

‘It is embarrassing and the people on that show are probably the worst possible examples of people from Essex. It’s just embarrassing.

‘I think the people are just making us look stupid.

‘I think it’s great entertainment but I think overall it’s an embarrassment to Essex.’
