Reality TV star Amy Childs lands in Newcastle

STUNNING Amy Childs could be set to bring her own brand of beauty tips to the North.

The former the Only way is Essex star made her first flying visit to the North East last week and told the Sunday Sun she would love to open one of her salons in the region.

Amy, who is now starring in her own reality TV show on Channel five, It’s all about Amy, has just opened her first beauty salon in her hometown in Essex but said she would be very interested in expanding her venture to the region.

“I would love to bring some to the North East, I am concentrating on my first at the moment and I am going to go from there,” said 21-year-old Amy, who hails from Brentwood in Essex.

Amy also said she could not believe how popular her trademark beauty treatment the ‘vajazzle’ had become across the country, with do-it yourself kits being sold in stores in the North.

“You get people from all over asking for it now, I can not believe it. I was trained in it four or five years ago,” she said.

Amy, who was in Newcastle to meet fans buying her 2012 calendar, said she was very impressed with her first glimpse of the city.

“I have never been here before, it is my first time. it looked lovely on the way in,” she said.

Amy was also keen to find out where the infamous Geordie Shore cast hung out and where the show was filmed.
